STAFFING INFORMATION 2019

Your Unit C Vice Presidents and I agreed to waive notice of surplus due May 17th for 10 month members with the sincere hope to reduce anxiety to a large group of members who may not require such notice.

Unfortunately, the TDSB confirmed today that with the 5 day extension of notice they have not been able to receive clarity on the budget process and its impact to the system.

This call blast confirms that all Central Based and some unique School Based 10 month and 10 month plus 1 week members will be receiving notice of site and Board surplus by May 24, 2019. Other affected members will be identified as per the Collective Agreement. Please note the majority of members receiving site and Board surplus may not be impacted.

You should complete the Staffing Information Forms sent to you by the TDSB and submit them by the due date. Invites for the Staffing Open House will be identified in your package and you are encouraged to attend. Your Unit C Staffing Committee will be present at the Open House to assist with any questions and how to best complete the Forms.
